Artist's Description

Constructed in 1931 the Horse Palace on the grounds of Exhibition Place in Toronto Canada is one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture in the city. Built to support the equestrian events of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, the building has 1,200 stalls for horses and other live stock and a main practice and exhibition ring under a cathedral style glass ceiling. The Horse Palace was designated a Heritage Property by The City Of Toronto in 1988.

Original photography using a Canon EOS 60D body with a Sigma 17-70mm f2.8 DC Macro OS lens and Silver EFEX Pro as a Lightroom plugin for the Black and White conversion.
