Artist's Description

Construted between 1858 and 1864 with a new wing built in 1958, The Old Don Jail at No 550 Gerrard St E in Toronto Canada was officially known as the Toronto Jail until 1977. The building was recently renovated and now serves as the administrative wing of a neighbouring health care facility.

Original photography from 2016 using a Canon EOS 60D body with a Sigma 17-70mm f2.8 DC Macro OS lens. Reprocessed using Silver EFEX Pro as a Lightroom plugin for the Monochrome conversion.
